Utilizing a 12 volt 50 amp hour Lithium Iron Phosphate Battery (LiFePO4) enclosed within a 1000 denier, highly visible Neon Green, DuPont Cordura Fabric case that is Polyurethane Coated and water repellent; the GPAC Portable Power Solution battery pack features 2 fused 20 amp outputs with an Anderson Power Pole connector and a covered SAE 2-pin Connector with a built-in cable pouch that houses the output cable connectors, cables and accessories. The case is equipped with non-conductive heavy duty zippers and a soft grip carry strap.

Weighing in at just about 13 pounds the 1250 carries easy and delivers power to spare.

The pack was specifically designed to extend the up time of your Pacific Crest or Trimble base radio when the 35 watt setting is enabled. The extra 15 amps of power over our 35 AH SLA battery means you can expect a gain of about 43% in up time. At the same time you will realize a significant weight loss over the 35 AH pack ~ 13 pounds versus 25 pounds. Important when packing equipment to your base control point.

The pack includes two 20 amp fused outputs. The first is our standard red / black Anderson Power Pole connector which mates with all of the Portable Power Solution products as well as the supplied 5 amp LiFePO4 charger. The second output is a special covered SAE 2-pin connector. This connector mates with the standard SAE 2-pin connector that is a part of the data cable that connects the Radio to the GPS Receiver. The covered connector helps protect the terminals from dirt and debris.

Unique Features:

The 50 AH LiFePO4 battery is half the weight of our 35 AH battery pack. However, it contains 43% more energy than our 35 AH SLA battery.

Our battery supplier states that the LiFePO4 battery can last up to 2500 charge / discharge cycles. The SLA batteries generally last 200-300 cycles. Therefore the life expectancy is approximately 10 times that of SLA batteries.

Excepting the battery chargers, all of GPAC's Portable Power Solutions accessories will work with the new LiFePO4 packs. The charge cycle of the new pack is different from the SLA charger cycle, therefore the SLA charger is not recommended for use with the new pack.
