About:

Nickel plated antenna mount with NMO type threads for a similarly threaded antenna. This style mounting thread is the most common style used through the industry.

Machined from 6061 Aircraft Grade aluminum alloy then platted with Electroless satin nickel. The plating prevents corrosion from the elements and resists salt spray when used in a marine application.

The bottom of this adapter has been drilled and tapped to 5/8-11 threads per inch (tpi) for mounting on a survey rod or tripod. The 5/8"-11 thread is a standard used on all survey equipment of recent manufacture (post 1960). The adapter is equipped with a TNC female jack. This design feature allows the user to quickly change cables for varying needs or field repairs. The internal assembly joining the TNC with the center button at the top of the mount has been encased in epoxy to make it waterproof. This model is light weight and suitable for rover or marine applications.
