This elevated feed point antenna is designed for those applications that lack a ground plane. Works perfectly with our AA-BR or AA-AL antenna adapters. This antenna delivers a much stronger signal to the rover than the OEM antenna mounted on your GPS. The antenna can be mounted on either of our antenna adapters, or an existing NMO style antenna mount.

900mHz signals tend to be line of sight and susceptible to degradation from heavy tree cover, buildings and other obstructions between the base and rover. Elevating the base radio antenna helps to overcome some of this loss. The FCC limits the output power from your 900mHz radio, however the gain of this antenna will increase the effective radiated power by a factor of 3X.
